Our Mission:
The Kempsville Elementary School Counseling Program is committed to supporting and enhancing the personal/social, academic, and career development of all students by providing a comprehensive, developmental program that encourages all children to reach their potential in school and life.
Our Services:
The counseling program follows state standards and offers services designed to enhance and enrich students' academic, career, and personal/social development. The program offers individual, small group, and classroom guidance. Students may be referred by parents/guardians, teachers and staff, friends or self-referral. Parents are welcome to schedule an appointment to view the materials used in the counseling program. Please don't hesitate to contact the counselor with any questions or concerns. * Beginning May 11th there will be a long-term substitute counselor until the end of the school year.
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-3:20 p.m.
